When we enter an hypnotic state of relaxed, focused attention, our subconscious mind becomes malleable and open to explore new possibilities.

Hypnosis is away of experiencing relaxed and focused attention to generate a goal oriented outcome.”In a clinical context, hypnosis involves paying greater attention to the essential skills of using words and gestures in particular ways to achieve a therapeutic outcome”. (Yapko,2012).
In short, Hypnosis facilitates change and often quickly. Mindfulness Meditation even for a brief period each day (3 to 10 mins) can underpin the change and form a long term basis for a life with reduced stress and anxiety, enhanced self-esteem and a sense of gratitude and compassion. Hypnosis is also used in conjunction with other therapies such a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Ego State Therapy and more. At A Happier Life, Mindfulness is our preferred “partner” however other therapies are available.
